Speight, Van Nostrand & Gibson Limited is the amalgamation of two of Ontario’s old survey firms.

 

W.S. Gibson & Sons Limited has a heritage dating back to 1825.  The firm founder David Gibson, was the first surveyor for the City Of Toronto and  elected to the Parliament of Upper Canada.

 

Speight, Van Nostrand formed a partnership in 1885. 

 

Each firm moved aggressively opening lands in Northern and Southern Ontario.

 

W.S. Gibson & Sons Limited and Speight, Van Nostrand Limited have a history of being involved in some of Canada’s largest real estate projects, The Home Smith Project, Toronto Dominion Tower, Eaton’s Centre and Scotia Plaza to name a few.

 

We have been involved with the Ministry Of Consumer and Commercial Relations Polaris Mapping Project of Brampton, Mississauga, Markham and Cambridge.

 

In keeping with an ever expanding technology, Speight, Van Nostrand & Gibson Limited has kept pace with the latest in office and field Computer Equipment.
